PULISIC EXCITED ABOUT SCORING AGAIN

Chelsea star says he is excited to find the net again post lockdown. Chelsea defeated hosts Aston Villa 2-1 on Sunday to keep a strong hold on their fourth place spot in the Premier League. The win boosts them at least five points ahead of Manchester United that played a draw with Spurs.

Pulisic has been out for a while due to injury and then the suspension of the league due to the lockdown. He says during the break the team tried different ways to remain fit and now they are trying to get back to the rhythm of things.

On the deal for Timo Werner, Pulisic says he is very happy as he adds to the already strong side. While they remain focused on the current season, he is excited for the following seasons. He still think playing without the fans is difficult but he appreciates the really good energy from the team.

The 21-year old came on in the second half with Villa ahead through Kortney Hause. Five minutes after his introduction he scored the equalizer. Olivier Giroud,, who led the attack scored barely two minutes later before he had to make way for Tammy Abraham in the 80th minute.

Chelsea still have tricky fixtures. They face defending champs Manchester City this Thursday and then go away to Leicester City on Sunday. There is still an away trip to seven-placed Sheffield, away game at Anfield and playing host to Wolves, who are also seeking a continental ticket. For now there is still a good chance that the Blues’ meet their season target of qualifying for the Champions League.
